Every other week, our staff have the option to participate in a Lunch & Learn session - ranging in a wide variety of topics and presenters - to better understand learning and teaching strategies, current topics in education and when working with youth, and best practices in education. Last week, one of our own - Mrs. Nancy Reitzel - led our session on "Incorporating Play into the Classroom" and had our teachers acting as students, making learning fun with shaving cream writing! Even the Principal, Mr. Knouse got in on the play!

Cumberland Perry Area CTC seeks a permanent full-time Masonry teacher beginning January 2025. The instructor is responsible for preparation of Level 1, 2, and 3 students. Requirements include the ability to plan, assess and supervise students in a classroom and shop setting in addition to ongoing program outreach and development. Four years of trade experience and supervisory experience preferred. The successful candidate must work towards permanent teacher certification. Once selected, chosen candidate will then need to complete and produce current Act 34 and Act 151 Clearances, FBI Clearance, physical, and TB test.
Salary dependent upon experience. Full benefit package. Applications deadline Friday, December 13, 2024.
