Our SkillsUSA chapter was recognized as a Quality Chapter for the successful completion of the Chapter Excellence Program.
We had 10 students represent Cumberland Perry at the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference in Hershey.
Emma Fromm from Big Spring, Reshma Dhungel from Mechanicsburg, Cheluchi Ezekoye from East Pennsboro and Braedon Brow from Trinity were voting delegates.
Trentin Gallagher from Susquenita placed 7th in carpentry
Tyler Hoak from Red Land placed 4th in masonry
Clayten Cramer from Big Spring placed 3rd in telecommunications cabling
Vianna Agostino from Mechanicsburg placed 2nd in pin design
Alex Potter from Susquenita and Ryan Weng from Cumberland Valley placed 1st in mechatronics. They will be competing in national competition in June in Atlanta.
Also, Charlie Gipe, a culinary arts OAC member was given the SkillsUSA PA Legacy Award which recognizes former SkillsUSA members who have made an impact in their field.
