Horticulture & Landscaping students from Cumberland Perry Area CTC competed in the 107th Pennsylvania Farm Show. Thirty-Eight students from CPACTC participated in 29 various categories ranging from center piece designs, floral design, herbs, terrariums, and best of show. Cumberland Perry Area CTC entered about 120 entries for the various competition judging. Thirty-one entries from CPACTC were in the top five and one student received “Best of Show” in two categories! Malena Perry, Horticulture instructor says, “This gives her students great direction, listening skills and a healthy competition against other students with their same passion.” Malena has encouraged her students to compete in the Farm Show for 24 years and “every year is different with student creativity and design.” Please see below for CPACTC category awards.
