“I am a Correctional Officer.”
What other employment have you had related to your program areas at CPACTC?
“Security until I turned 21-year-old, and it was only a part-time job.”
What additional training and education did you receive after leaving Cumberland Perry?
“I went to the State Correctional Academy to train for my current job. My time in the Criminal Justice program at CPACTC adequately prepared me for continuing in the legal field.”
How was your time here different from your regular high school classes?
“Susquenita did not offer a Criminal Justice program, and I knew that was the field I wanted to go into for my career.”
How has your industry changed since your time of being in school here?
“Technology is always evolving. Body camera, surveillance and safety equipment. All those changes, and advances in quality over time.”
What is your favorite CPACTC memory?
“Having a moment of recall at work, I can remember l was sitting in my classroom at CPACTC in Criminal Justice program and wanting to do what I am doing now as my line of work in the criminal justice system, now here I am doing it and then coming back here to share what I do with current students in the program.”
