Cumberland Perry Area CTC held their annual Occupational Advisory Dinner on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. The OAC is a vital partnership between CPACTC and industry workforce. The OAC assists with the student NOCTI performance test, program curriculum, job shadows, industry visits, and cooperative education employment of students.

Culinary Arts students created the Japanese menu theme including; recipes, menu cost analysis, preparation, and meat fabrication. The culinary team of eight students and local advisory chefs served over 230 members.

CPACTC Horticulture students designed and constructed 30 succulent gardens as displays in each program. They were later randomly selected for an OAC member who attended the meeting as a door prize.

The partnership CPACTC has established with industry businesses is essential for students to be prepared for the workforce upon graduation and this annual dinner is a small gratitude of thanks to all our partners!
